I will be keeping y'all in my thoughts and prayers! Maybe if he took a nap early and you made an outing of it? I once had to keep A up for a long period of time and we made a late night trip to Denny's for icecream. Just a thought!

OK.. I feel you on Electronic Records.. We are headed in that direction soon.

Lord, I call on you in the name of the Father, and of the son and of the holy spirit.

I pray to you today allow a boy who is growing into a man and special to his mother to be blessed with a chance to enjoy life without the frustrations of medications, doctors and nurse.

I pray that his mother have the strength to accept his life for what it is and continue to enjoy the life of her child no matter what the diagnoses is.

Bless them today lord and shower them with happy news and health.

Sounds like you both will fall asleep in the doctor's office. I don't know how old your baby is (my mother still calls me her baby) but if he is in fact a baby cold water in his eyes every so often will help. Sounds cruel but umm...effective.

I'm late on this post, but never too late to holla at OG (Omni-God) for you. Consider it answered.

You mentioned keeping him awake and my first thoughts were of the "fare" variety. I hated knowing I had to get admitted (I had THREE C-Sections) and couldn't Eat. A. Darn. Thing. It just ain't right. And the gas and pain I had afterwards? Hell, I might-as-well had eaten my tale off. "You people" wanna pacify a sista with some frozen popsicles and ice. My growling stomach wanted to bite "You people" head off! Gotta love nurses *wink*. Where would we AND doctors be without the likes of "You people!"

My typos are such a pain. That's why I'm going to try to type this again.
So much for new systems and technology at work. They say that it's supposed to save time, but it doesn't always work out that way.

But as far as your son is concerned, I pray that everything turns out well for him and your family.
