I fell for the O'KEE DOK.............

This kid has been a licensed driver for ONE day!!!!! I got dropped off today!!! Yep I fell for it!!!

james: mom i'm off today.

me: that's good baby

james: mom I NEED to please take you to work.

me: why?

james: uuummmm don't you have sumthin for me to do?

me: ummm yeah I do need an oil change...........and you can take your brother to school after he sees the DR.

james: thanks mom you are the best!!!!

me: yeah just put my gas back!!!! LOL And be there there to get me ON TIME!!!

james: No problem I will put $10 in that should be good......

me: laughing my ass off

james: what's so funny?

He will see $10 worth of gas aint shit!!!!

All the comments you guys make, touch me in one way or another.........a man by the name of O made a comment that came to me from an old post "count my blessings"( the end of April) He must have went back and read old posts. His comment popped up in my e-mail inbox today and it REALLY touched me!!!! I needed that today!!!!

I remember those days any excuse to drive the family car when I got my lience. I was the runner to the store, to pick up yourger siblings, to the post office any where just to drive!

Awww... that is so cute. And really cool that you let him drive. I NEVER drove my mother's car (I'm from NY so I didn't even GET a license til I was 19). My mother was NOT having it!!! She would always say, "My car is not a TOY, I need my car to work." LOL

My mother let me drive her minivan before I was a licensed driver. Of course this is not so bad considering I didn't get my license until I was like 23. That is such a long story....don't ask.

I give it a few months of "making himself useful" before he starts saying things like "who did all this running around for you BEFORE I got my license." LOL

That's so sweet! I look forward to (and fear) the day I will be teaching my son to drive :-) I hope I'll be as cool about it all as you are. He should come to NY and try putting $10 gas in ANY car..........He would be very very hurt! Good luck girl.

Hey lady! What a milestone, huh? A licensed driver. When I finally got my license, I was too damn skurred to drive! LOL Anyway, I wish your son many safe travels dear. I miss ya gurrrrl! You mentioned the mom's holiday in your other post...I CTHU! You are so right. I woke up at 5am so freakin' ready to drop them So far so good, but I will have to get crunk on Monday for a comment the school nurse made to my baby. I'll let ya know about it in a few days.
