Girl I am praying for you. I can't even imagine.

God might be sending you a message. I firmly believe that God does things for a reason. Know that when one door closes another one is opening...and whatever it is will be better.

I'm sending BIG HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

All man, I can't even believe they did that thru a damn letter. You are the second blogger that I've read about that happening to. Is that the new way to terminate someone?

Believe me, I have been going thru it to, but I'm trying very hard to stay positive to. It just seems like it is that time of the year. So many people are going thru turmoil right now.

I'm so sorry this had to happen to you, but remember that your blessing is on the way.

Keep the faith and don't give up!

Dee, I'm here for you girl. If you need something, let me know.

And don't look at this as a setback. View it as God having something better waiting in the wings for you.

Still praying for you. Fortunately you are a nurse and since we have a severe nursing shortage finding a new spot shouldn't be long.

But it is awful that attempting to help someone went so badly.

A termination letter in the mail might just be the new black. My brother got terminated from his job a few days ago, and they told him that a letter was on its the mail.

Let me know if you need anything.

Peace Sis,

This is my first time on your blog, and I don't mean to get all up on you but I was told that when we lose a job that it doesn't mean that we are jobless, it means we are ready for a new job. Often we'll find an even better one than the one we already had. We wouldn't even be looking for this better one unless God forced us out of our comfort zone. So take comfort in knowing that God never takes the best of the best away from us, but gives us the room for the best of the best to be introduced to us.

Stay in the Blessings

Dee, its my first time on your blog and I feel for your situation. I too am the single mother of a teenaged son (16) and ten years ago when he was 6, I was terminated with no warning from my job as a pharmacist in a down-sizing. I did not allow it to get me down for a second b/c like nurses, pharmacist jobs are abundant.

I know you feel some anxiety being the provider for your family as was I, but try to look at this situation as an opportunity to make changes that may place you somewhere you never thought of going that will be so much better for you and your sons.

When it happened to me, I did not pursue another job as a pharmacist, but decided instead to change careers and got into pharmaceutical sales (they really like to hire nurses too). It was one of the best decisions I've ever made, allowing increased flexibility of schedule and more opportunity for advancement. Ten years later, I am working the best job I've ever had and doing quite well financially.

This too shall pass, and when it does, you will find it was worth passing through to end up where you'll be...keep your head up!

That's a piss poor way to notify a person of something like that. If that is the way they treat their employees I wouldn't want to be there have some blessings on the way. When one door closes, another one opens. I'm praying that your blessings will come soon....

Take a rest for a few days, get your mind together, then make a full time job out of looking for a job. 4 WORDS: This too shall pass.
